Creation & Rest explores the biblical language of refuge, provision, wonder, guidance, and peace through landscapes shaped by the beauty of the created world.

These works are not meant merely to provide escape, but to invite remembrance of the Creator whose care extends over all he has made.

    Still Waters

    Psalm 23 does not promise a life without valleys. It gives us something better: the presence and guidance of the Shepherd within them.

    Still Waters draws from the quiet imagery of Psalm 23:1–3, where green pastures and restful waters become signs of God’s sustaining care. The landscape is meant to feel spacious and unhurried—a visual reminder that biblical rest is not escape from reality, but trust in the One who leads.

    The stillness of the scene invites the viewer to linger over the simple confession: the Shepherd is present, and his care is enough.
